Free GROL Practice Exam — Elements 1 & 3
Practice for the FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License the way the real exam works: one question per key topic, drawn from the official pools, graded against the real pass thresholds. Pick an element to start — no signup, nothing tracked.
Where these questions come from
- Questions are drawn from the FCC commercial operator question pools (public domain, approved 2009-06-25) for Element 1 and Element 3.
- This is a practice tool only. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the FCC or any Commercial Operator License Examination Manager (COLEM). Actual exams are administered by COLEMs.
- Figure-based questions show the official figure — the schematic images are extracted from the official FCC pool document itself, never redrawn. A figure question is only served while its figure is available, and questions whose answer key has not been independently confirmed are withheld. Each element card shows exactly how many questions that removes.
- When the available pool is smaller than the official draw, your exam is shorter and the passing score is scaled proportionally — the results screen discloses it.
