ERRCS Hub Academy — structured training for ERRCS/BDA technicians
Self-paced online prep for the two credentials AHJs actually name: NICET In-Building Public Safety Communications Levels 1–2 and the FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL) — taught field-first.
What it will be
- NICET IB-PSC Levels 1–2 exam prep, mapped module-by-module to the published content outline: RF math drills, code navigation (IFC §510 / NFPA 1225 Ch. 18 / NEC), survey and grid-test procedure, documentation, and DAQ scoring.
- An FCC GROL module, because jurisdictions are starting to require both — San Diego, for example, requires a GROL plus NICET IB-PSC Level II for ERRCS testing. One course, both credentials covered.
- Practice questions with explanations and code references, plus interactive grid-test practice using the same free tools already live on this site.
What it won’t be
An “ERRCS Hub certificate.” The credentials that count are NICET’s and the FCC’s — this course exists to get you through their exams, nothing more.
Hands-on instrument training. Screen time can’t replace time on a real BDA — manufacturer hands-on classes do that well, and the course will point you to them.
